At the sign-in area, instead of names the list consisted of numbers only - so guys had to find their number and sign in next to that. Problem was, many of them didn't know their numbers. So they'd ask a nearby cyclist or one of the announcers to check for them. Here, Tom Boonen is checking Gert Steegman's number for him.
